Eazy E, Born “Eric Lynn Wright” September 7th, 1963 In Compton California he grew up in a two-parent household Eazy later became a product of his outside environment resulted in selling drugs and gang activity until one day his cousin was killed he decided to use his street money as a safe investment to break in the music business, as a result, he recruited a friend Compton native Dr.Dre who was in (Alonzo Williams) “The World Class Wrecking Crew” Dre then tapped Teen “Ice Cube” to write rhymes soon after “MC Ren” joined and “Arabian Prince”, DJ Yella was in World Class Wrecking Crew

Arabian Prince, Dr. Dre, Eazy E,
Arabian Prince, Dr.Dre, Eazy E, 1987,

an all-star rap group was born NWA which stands for “N***as With Attitudes” Boyz In The Hood, and 8Ball, written By Ice Cube were recorded as singles then included on the group's EP along with other compositions performed by NWA they soon got the attention of “Greg Mack” who was DJing for 1580 KDay they blew up overnight then Straight Outta Compton was in the mix being made by the group Dr.Dre and DJ Yella Arabian Prince as Producers, Writers were Ice Cube, MC Ren, soon to be a star The D.O.C. straight out of Dallas Texas who would have his own success couple of years later but it was Eazy own solo album that would be a stable along with the group that became cult classics among hip hop music Media coined title (Gangster Rap,)

while Compton became dangerous The Soundtrack was being made before everyone's eyes “Eazy E's personality and shocking violent humor lyrics at only 5'3 in his early 20s became larger than life entities marketing genius strategies that for saw the future and paved the way for today Eazy E and Dr.Dre was modern-day hip hop’s George Clinton and Bootsy Collins, of course, NWA was Parliament/Funkadelic in terms of Same Team Players it’s no surprise logically it makes perfect sense they studied the greats, Eazy E loved KRS One and Boogie Down Productions Crimnally Minded Album always played according to Ice Cube, Dre being a DJ was used to crate-digging what moved the crowds but also sonically what was the perfect formula to be made mixed with MC Ren and Ice Cube, can’t forget the great D.O.C. who wanted to take Eazy to another dimension with story witty telling rhymes and did not fail at any cost to give the Hip Hop Thuggsta what he needed to be a giant on wax

Eazy E and The D.O.C.

Eazy Duz It Album released September 13th, 1988, Clocks in 50:00min Intro/Still Talkin about Eazy has to be explicit as possible to get his point of view across backed by funny jokes from Dr. Dre and Ice Cube in between the subject at hand, then the listener is taking through a Bank Robbery in

“Nobody Moves”

A humorous tale that ends in Death,

“Ruthless Villian” and 2" Hard Mutha’s” has Eazy and MC Ren going back and forth about ripping s*** up and being the hardest nothing less or more to expect,

“Boyz In The Hood is remixed an already classic from 86 more production is added with a new intro, a neighborhood tale about being in the hood in Compton,

the highlights for this album is “Eazy Duz It”, you can’t get no harder than this track he is a total badass that just doesn’t give a s*** about the consequences being a hardhead is how you get the respect,

“We Want Eazy” an interpretation concept of We Want Bootsy by Bootsy Collins Eazy has a clever rap cadence and confident delivery of why the people want him and why his records selling he’s the star of the show,

“Eazy-er Said Than Dunn” has Eazy going for the same swagger as previous tracks where he’s from ain't all about that playing…now that’s what he’s saying “born in 73 everybody wanna know the agey E” his youthful appearance and high pitch voice always kept his fan’and public guessing his real age Mystery is golden,

“Radio” has Eazy going toe to toe in the ring with LL Cool J/Rakim although not as experienced this was for the radio as well the previous 2, and has me imaging if Eazy was a clean rapper would this how his music could’ve been? had different circumstances played out only one could dream Eazy still dope in this track,

“No More??” has Eazy entertaining a reporter who asks him about his life as a kid, Pimp Mack Daddy robbing and getting away slanging and banging while banking money: true fact Eazy was a getaway driver of a home invasion with his buddies in Compton driving to Long Beach to commit the act No Cap On Eazy part at all,

“I”mma Break It Down” is Eazy riding the wave of Radio and We Want Eazy not bad for an amateur rapper who never wanted to rap, to begin with, The album closes in on Chapter 8–10 is Eazy reading violent poetry to his crew probably a filler Dre decided to add who really knows but funny at the same time,

Eazy sold this album with his charisma and the help of NWA/The D.O.C. hands down although sadly this would be the last time such collab would ever happen again as beef and money would come in between only a few years later, 8/10 a must listen and grab Eazy Duz It deserves more recognition amongst The HIp Hop Community as a blueprint to how it should be done as a rapper with no experience. a great team and fearless approach
