“Rose’s are Red Violets are Blue check these classics for you and your boo.”

I get it a little corny but this is for the love birds who love music as much they love themselves and their loved ones. being a music fan I've been crate digging since I can remember. I'm sharing what I think might be a special edition to your valentines to keep the flame at 110. without further due.. let’s start it

1, Bloodstone How Does It Feel was released in 1982 from their album

We Go A Long Way Back on TNeck Recs (Isley Brothers Own T Neck Label)

Written By Charles Love, Curtis Love, Kitty Sears, Oscar Love

this sensual 11-minute ballad features an alto sax solo from Don Myrick of the Phoenix Horns who joined Earth Wind and Fire then joined Phill Collins

a rare cut that’s not found on The Best Of or Greatest hits not even thought of

I decided to highlight

2, Switch “You’re The One For Me”, From Their 1979 Sophmore Album Switch II On Motown Records Written/Produced By Bobby Debarge, Elaine Brown. Phillip Ingram, Bobby Debarge is an unsung vocalist

I could’ve chosen over 100+ ballads by Prince yet something about

this is special

3, “Crucial”, Written and Produced Performed by Prince himself recorded during Around The World In A Day Sessions but didn’t see the light of day until 1998 on The Boxset Crystal Ball, a great song and a deserves more shine

a heartfelt performance and silky smooth harmony real R&B crooning also has to be one of my top favorites in any Cameo playlist their ballads always outdid their contemporaries

4, Cameo “Feel Me” released on their 1980 Feel Me Album written by Anthony Lockett and Larry Blackmon (Produced By (Larry Blackmon)

this is yet another rare one but known to fan’s who were around in the 60s and still find it’s way on to radio stations to this day

Barbara Lewis “Baby, I’m Yours” Written By Van McCoy from her 1965 album “Baby I’m Yours “ here’s a fun fact Barbara’s Birthday is February 9th

hopefuly she will see her classic has made the list

may she continue to have a classy 79th Birthday and many more to come
